My psychotherapy practice
It is an honor to be a therapist. I am passionate about helping my clients reach their goals and support them in living a meaningful, functional life. I will meet you wherever you are at in your journey, and together we will work collaboratively on your goals utilizing open and clear communication about our progress.
My experience includes working with adults carrying a range of diagnoses and goals in mind for therapy. I have worked with individuals as well as couples. I specialize in assisting clients with depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders. I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology from Hofstra University in New York, and my Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.
I practice with an eclectic style. For me this includes a CBT framework while incorporating ideas from existentialism, humanism, DBT, family systems, person centered therapy, general wellness, psychoeducation when appropriate, and mindfulness. I incorporate a strengths-based approach as well, meaning I will help you discover and build upon your personal strengths.
Get to know me
I grew up on the east coast and have lived in several states, mainly south-central Pennsylvania, and the New York metropolitan area. I’ve lived in Seattle since 2017.
I love hiking and camping, tending to my plants, and spending time with my dog. I enjoy art in many forms, and love learning new things! Some of my favorite psychological topics to study are existentialism and human development.
